Who Are We?
AK Elite is a basketball program run from Anchorage, AK. The program started around 2010 and has worked with hundreds of kids over the years. The program founder, Lionel Queen, grew up in Anchorage. He started this program with the support of family, his coaches, and an adventurous group of young players willing to take the leap with him.
Since its beginning, AK Elite has placed competitive teams in leagues in Anchorage. Our teams participate in the ACS Fall, Winter, and Spring leagues and in the Valley Winter leagues as well as various local tournaments. We have also taken teams across the country to test ourselves against the best competition in the country.
AK Elite emphasizes family and connection. We work hard on basketball skills and fielding competitive teams, but we love family, respect, and community. We remain an open program, welcoming players at any skill level.
